Short Description: A central grass area surrounded by large London plane trees. This space has been used previously by cohorts in LCC to hold exhibitions and workshops.
2 – Lamlash Community Gardens

Noise Level: Low
Short Description: A community garden run by volunteers, it holds a wide variety of plants and trees. It is on the smaller side, and can accommodate only a few people at a time.
3 – West Square Gardens – 5 mins walk

Noise Level: Low
Short Description: These quiet gardens feature rose beds and mature trees, including Mulberry trees. It includes a few benches. Closing times vary as per sunset times across seasons.
4 – Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park

Short Description: Located around the Imperial War Museum, this is a large park with a range of spaces such as the Tibetan Peace Garden with various sculptures, free multi-use games area, a small woodland and mature trees, an Ice Age Tree trail, a pond area (open by appointment) and a community orchard. It also has toilets, seating and easy access to bicycles. This garden was dedicated to the “splendid, struggling mothers of Southwark”.
5 – Newington Gardens

Short Description: A landscaped park area with mature trees and two multi-use areas as well as a children’s play area and some seating.
6 – Dickens Fields

Short Description: This park is designated as conservation areas with fitness and outdoor gym equipment and some seating.
7 – Victory Community Park

Noise Level: Low
Short Description: This small park has a children’s play area, a teen multi-use games zone, a border with unusual plants, a nature area (open by appointment). This park is currently under renovation.
